Kurzick/Luxon, how to get the skills? - Guild Wars Forums

Hello all,

It's been several years since I played GW. I have lots of level 20 characters and therefor also lots of faction points.
According to wiki page you have to use the points in order to get a new title. Or well, that is how I read it.
So I bought about 50 urgoz scrolls.
But I still don't get any message or anything about what rank/tier I have with the Kurzicks.
The kurzick guy won't sell me the skills.
My guild is also a kurzick guild.

So I hope someone can clarify a bit how to get the skills exactly?
And also, do I need to improve my ranking with all my characters separately?
And where/how can I see what my ranking is?
i have to say that on the wiki page it's not explained very clearly how to obtain the skills.

The rank is account-wide.
Hit H and find Friend of the Kurzicks title track. Probably Kurzick Supporter should be there, or something further. You need at least r1 (100k faction transfered) to be able to buy skills.
The most efficient way to get the title is to donate faction for your guild.

After you hit R1 of the Kurzick/Luxon title track, you go to House Zu Heltzer (Kurzick) or Cavalon (Luxon) and talk to the Kurzick/Luxon skill guy. They will sell you the skills for faction points.

Alternatively, you can go to your guild hall and talk to the Kurzick person there as well for skills.

Something you guys forgot to add.

If you are currently owning some faction of the Kurzicks, you won't be able to
buy any skills from the Luxon side of Cantha.

Example :
I have just gain some faction.
My bars show the following :
Kurzick [ 5,000/50,000 ]
Luxon [ 0/50,000 ]

You won't able to buy any skills at all from the luxon side even if your
guild is luxon.
